Rain girl

Once upon a time

There was a peculiar girl

A strange girl

Wherever she went it would never rain

People cheered up when they saw her

She brings the sunshine they said

But she longed for the rain she could never feel

The warm water on the skin

The multitude of rhythms

The sweet innocence of washed tears

Drowning in air

Breathing underwater
