What I’d say to the child version of my dad who grew up without a mom
His mom was banned from seeing him when his parents got divorced:
Someone loves you
Someone is more devastated at losing you than you are of missing her
You will have chances to experience love and when you do, allow it
You were born with it
You deserve it
It belongs to you
