When we protect our self respect without focusing on the self, what are we protecting?

A lot of people who are living with some factor of risk and danger in their lives don’t see how glamorous they appear

There is so much unknown

The day you find out who you are, what do you do next?

I would do nothing

I would stop trying to be her

I would give up being admired

And when my hands are empty of this burden

I will seek out what else there is to hold
