Dear friends

Today the pain has gone

We talked it out

It left the door slightly open

I got up to close it

And I pushed the lock a little bit it’s a trick door

I heard it pull out the driveway

The pain has left today

I washed the dishes

I read in bed

The pain has left

Goodnight and goodbye

There was a time you wanted to take my sadness and emptiness

Instead you brought it

And when you left you took it away

And when I have tight shoulders I make them tighter by pinching my shoulders up to my ears and I relax and feel the release

When you left I felt the release

Oh I guess this was what it was all along

This overlooked moment

I was an overlooked moment

And now, a constellation
