My dad came and told me he had a dream about me

I was graduating college

(I never went to my college graduation)

And after the ceremony we went to a coffeeshop

And I was reading a book titled ‘midway’

I am midway to getting there

To knowing what love is maybe

Or Midway to growing up

Midway to being me

Not sure what I’m midway to, but he says to keep going
