Lilith in Scorpio

Today Lilith entered Scorpio, Scorpio is about truth and karma and Lilith is the exiled feminine rebellion. I want to say something to this because I am a Scorpio stellium and Lilith first house, closest to my ascendant. That means my sense of myself is strongly tied to this archetype.

My favorite anime is called Kino’s Journey. It’s about a young woman who dresses like a boy in disguise and travels around the world with a talking motorcycle. She gets to visit all sorts of strange dystopian countries. In one country (spoiler alert) murder is made legal. She follows a violent man who gleefully enters the country with plans to get away with murder. However the villagers turn on him and execute him at the moment he tries to kill someone. All along, they had set a trap for murderous minded people to visit so they can be executed.

A Scorpio is often mysterious and magnetic. They have a way of embodying temptation: a promise of power, sex, and your greatest desires come to life. This is basically a way to draw in the people who need reckoning.

You should never get involved in other people’s karma. You should never hate or judge because it will add momentum to their karma and drag you along with their lesson. But that doesn’t mean we don’t enforce consequences, like going to jail. But we can do this without judgement.

When you face someone with bad karma, you can often find yourself getting very entangled with their karma, and their karma becoming yours. I was always told that Scorpio is what the universe sends to deliver karma, but this is not completely accurate. I myself became trapped in cycles of other’s lessons believing this. This is the lower embodiment of the sign. Scorpio does not give out karma, but Scorpio will enforce the consequences as meticulously as possible so that karma is allowed to flow correctly. The key is to do this without revenge. Often you meet people who have successfully run from their consequences for a long time. It is only my job to stand still enough so they cannot run any longer. Karma is only a form of balance, after all.

Lilith wants to challenge and question power itself. It will ask us to re-examine places in our lives where we lack power, and it will keep our eyes open even when we want to flinch because it’s too real and too painful. It wants to look at the ways that we’ve been exploited. It will want to examine what has escaped consequences. It will draw us to look deeper and enact karma with more sophistication and exactment, but remember: do not get lost in fantasies of revenge.

Because Scorpio is most powerful when karma can flow through you without touching you.
