When we were young

All the young people who fall in love so easily, puppy love. Back when life was easier. We thought our parents and teachers were the worst and love was fun and easy and simple. But when you grow up you have to deal with real things. And what you think love is supposed to be is totally different.

Why do people act like romance stories don’t matter? Romance and relationships between two people is probably what’s driving 99% of the progress in the world. It’s where we touch another human and unpack all our trauma that we inherited. Whether you find the one or have a string of disillusioned affairs, they are the thing driving you and inviting you to change and grow into the person you have the potential to be, and to feel the joy you can possibly feel.
