I could love you with my beauty and keep you mesmerized

I could love when I need you and you could be my hero

I could love you when I’m angry and need revenge

I could love you when I know your weakness and make myself feel powerful

I could love you in desperation and pray on my knees

I could love you when you ask me to and respond with obligation

But my preferred way to love you

is when there is nothing to do

no need

no reason

when I am eating fruits at my table

thinking of nothing

enjoying the pleasure of existence
