They’re playing a guitar and violin rendition of The Weight. Take the load off Annie

I’m sitting on the beach in the dark wondering why I don’t have the kind of friends who would play a stupid loud passionate covers of songs on the beach

I’m trying to solve the mystery of why I have enough strong and successful friends who have stable jobs

But they never seem to be the kind of people who would sing harmony to rock blues covers on the beach

I have a lot of worries on my mind

More than I’d like to admit

Most of it is a sadness I don’t care to admit

I’d love to have a man to asks me to take my load off

That my load might not be too much

It just might be that crazy stupid love
